I don't get the point of things like this. If you remove every single blocking part in your code then you will always use up your scheduling quantum and become the lowest priority process (the mother of all blocking) anyway.

I protect my laptop whether it's a $3k top-of-the-line MBP of a $200 Aldi special. The valuable part of my laptop is what's stored on it, not the eq itself which I have insured against theft.

It would only be hypocrisy if he said they should be punitively taxed and he shouldn't. So long as those holes exist he would be foolish to not use them. He's in the same situation as Warren Buffet: both condemn/ridicule the current system

You're experience is totally different to mine here in Europe. I don't know anyone who would even consider buying a cheap windows laptop online. You might be able to sell it to a family member or friend directly but that's it. Used macs,

This is more of typical "find some way to make everyone who takes any action into a hypocrite". First of all, just because Chomsky believes something doesn't mean he has to practice it if no one else is. What would it benefit the world fo

Was this before or after TSA got involved? I'm sure there is a market here for people like myself who don't ever plan to fly in or to the US again so long as the TSA are there.
