Most Intel processors are still made on 10nm, which Intel deceptively calls “Intel 7”. Even the best 10nm processor can’t physically compete with a 3nm one on efficiency.

Filecoin is probably one of the few cryptocurrencies with intrinsic value, even if the amount is debatable. IPFS has stood the test of time and seems like a good protocol; and a cryptocurrency that can be used to pay for storage is not valu

Not sure why you're being downvoted, but this is absolutely common corporate PR 101 practice. They follow social media, reddit, etc all the time, and if there's an organic story that's good for their brand, they forward it to

Different people use devices in different ways. My phone is 80% emails, Slack, iMessage, Discord; 15% Google Maps, Uber, or Safari, and 5% YouTube. To each their own, but I realised content consumption is a seriously net negative on my happ

I'm not convinced crypto is inherently less secure; I'd argue it's more secure on average. Data breaches happen every day; whether in financial services or not. The difference is that a breach is catastrophic for crypto; but

Authors apparently earn cents of royalties for every physical book purchased. That seems crazy. I wouldn't mind paying $5 more for a book if >90% of it went to the author.

It also depends on your use case. If your NAS is write-once-heavy and just used for archiving data, and isn't being used to run a database or something like that; then you can even do a 20 drive zpool3 if you want. That's my setup

You're not buying from the right brand. Synology supports their hardware for about 10 years since release. They are the "Apple"-like of NAS.

There was a big fight over the future of bitcoin. There are 6-7 core developers in that era, and multiple clients, but bitcoind was dominant. Blockstream was able to create the perception of an economic majority — thanks to forums like Bitc

I don’t think that’s the attack this feature aims to prevent. Rather, it aims to prevent someone who compromised iMessage infrastructure, from pulling a dodgy around keys.
