I'd like to see a front-facing camera but what I need the most is larger internal memory. I want to install more apps but with Nexus One's meager 512MB flash memory, I hit the limit already. Now, I don't even install apps that are more than

I seriously don't want to live in your world. So what would you tell kids? Do not aspire for anything because chances are, you will likely fail. You can choose how you look at things. "For every good story, there is a bad story." "For every

I live in Mt View and go to the city about once a week. I take Caltrain ($6 each way) to the city but you can't stay too late. The last train from SF leaves at around midnight. It would suck if you miss it because a taxi would probably cost

I have seen so many sites related to finding a cofounder. In my opinion, there's an oversupply of them. I know a lot of people looking for a cofounder but most of them are non-engineers. My guess is a lot of these sites may have a lot of se

I'll argue to the contrary. Lots of sites use Facebook Connect because it actually drives signups. Where are you basing your argument that people do not actually want to give their twitter username and password? In my experience, a lot of c

I like it. Actually, I'm looking for a desk to work at in Buenos Aires for the next 3 weeks. The cafes here are very busy and noisy. I wonder if AirBnB will enter this category since they are a "marketplace for space".

This might be an overkill but how about geo-specific HN groups aside from the general one? Bay Area Hacker News, San Diego Hacker News, etc.

You don't get the full Django on App Engine. You cannot use Django's ORM but instead use App Engine's. You also cannot just use any of the pluggable Django apps especially those with model changes.

I don't see the correlation to apartment renting. For me, it's more of like magazine subscription. If you don't renew, they can just stop sending you magazines. With apartment renting, you continue to use the service/product. If you stop pa

I decided to stop reading MG Siegler's Android-related posts. His articles about Android are just absurd. The last straw for me was when he wrote that Android is only surging because Apple is letting them too. He's the ultimate fanboy that
