I'm skeptical too. Supporting apps built on a platform they have no control over is a potential headache. They always need to catch up when Google updates the Android API.

The link to the Android Market does not go to the app page. With a name like 'Color', it's almost impossible finding it in the market.

You are comparing a 3-day version of Profile.io to a 2+ year-old site. We have plans that would differentiate ourselves from the other services out there but we can't build all of them in a matter of days. It is not entirely inspired by Abo

Sorry. forgot 'not' when checking is_email_valid. It is now fixed. Try again.

It's the niche. Flavors.Me != Profile.io in the same way StackOverflow != Quora.

Fixed. Let me know if we missed anything. I wish we could use Django's autoescape filter but App Engine's SDK ships with just 0.96 by default. We can only upgrade to a later version of Django in Prod and not locally.

We are using StringProperty. We need to use TextProperty. We are going to try to fix this soon.

Where did you get these stats? There are a lot of people who prefer other products over Apple's in the same way that there are still a lot of people who still prefer a feature phone over a smartphone.

"Why would a non-enthusiast buy an Android tablet based on the idea they they might get better over time, when iPads are good now?" The same way that people bought Android phones when it first came out. Not everybody wants Apple.

Replace "Xoom" with "G1"/"Android" and "IPad"/"IPad 2" with "IPhone". Pretty much exactly what people said more than 2 years ago.

Ah, I still remember when the 1st Android phone came out (G1). A lot of people were dismissing it because the IPhone had a 2-year head start. Interface was ugly, phone is thick like a brick, only on 1 carrier, the smallest of the Big 4 at t

My question is if this explosion of LY domains has been financially lucrative for Libya. I seriously don't want money flowing into Gaddafi's regime.

Block sites with Adsense? Large part of Google's revenues come from Adsense. Advertising is also the only monetization for most sites. What can you contribute to Google and other sites if you want to cut off their revenue?
