I don't see any contradiction. Enlarging the pool - actively seeking people who might think they wouldn't be hired because of their background - looks to me like the best way to balance diversity. While excluding qualified candida

Using (explicit) state machines in Rails is so easy, thanks to the gem of the same name(1), that we use them very often, with good results. I think that ease of setting them up and integrating them in whatever framework/language you us

I honestly think you're overplaying it, instead. Whatever the scale of the changes, they will happen during decades, not years. "Economy cease to exist": what does it even mean? There was an economy during WWII, there was an

Branding isn't just about spending a lot on ads. I found lots of actionable suggestions even for a small startups in a book called "Killer brands" by Frank Lane.

Makes a lot of sense for the customer. I just wonder what Amazon could try to do to prevent this model becoming prevalent.

With electronics - like with most physical products - having your production facilities near your suppliers and customers, and having lots of low cost labor, has a really big impact. With software, it's a completely different story.

Solar panels already have huge economies of scales and lots of research investment; as a matter of fact, their price has been coming down incredibly fast thanks to those. There is no reason why adding bitcoin there will increase that speed.

There is already a huge demand for electrical power in the world, especially clean one. Bitcoin won't add anything specific for solar.

On the contrary, bitcoin using up a lot of solar installation would only displace using the same solar panels for other uses.
