I wish it could write integration tests. That requires an understanding of the testing scaffold and the fake data it produces. LLMs aren't ready for that yet, but someday it will be magical.

One of the pernicious aspects of using AI is the feeling it gives you that you have done all work without any of the effort. But the time of takes to digest and summarize an article as a human requires a deep injestion of the concepts. The

We've had the capability to feed the entire planet for decades now, and yet, a large portion is underfed. Even if Sam's wildest dreams come true, this sounds like another "divide the world into haves and have-nots". One

Okay, so, GPUs will go away to be replaced by AI, which... runs on GPUs? Even if the target application changes from games to AI, we still need widely parallel processors (aka GPUs) and serial processors (aka CPUs) if we want to keep growin

This is about individual freedoms, not public health, and is directly related to this post. Unfortunately, no law can protect against poor parenting.

This law affects companies, not students, as it should be. Enforcing limits on students is the job of parents, not teachers or police.

You can't enforce silly laws. Who would enforce this ban? Teachers? That would be a school regulation, not a state law. Or do you want police walking around school arresting kids with phones? Do you enforce all of your guidance for you

Glad to hear money isn't your focus. Your comment "...then we realized it was also monetizable" was the reason for my interpretation. Its also a very common rational. I don't know what "nerd-sniped" means, so..

You said (implied?) that your reason for starting a company was that you were waiting for somebody (MS) to build your favorite tech, and you realized it was monetizable. Finding a gap is a great start. But, if money is your goal, it is far

I recommend getting a job at NVIDIA. They care deeply about SW. It is a great place to learn about HW and the supporting SW. There is much to learn. Maybe you will learn why you are unimpressed with their SW offerings. For me, the hard part

You can scale revenue without growing the number of employees. That's precisely why product-based businesses, like SaaS and software in general, are famous. Service-based businesses require scaling employees in order to scale revenue.
