Curiously, since the last update I have the problem where Safari tabs go completely white after a while. Refreshing doesn‘t help. I have to copy the URL and paste it into a fresh tab.

> But then anyone could just instantiate an invalid Name without calling the parse_name function and pass it around wherever This is nothing new in C. This problem has always existed by virtue of all struct members being public. Generall

Apparently Vista introduced a new audio stack with higher processing overhead and thus latency. I used to boot up XP in a VM occasionally. It‘s amazing how streamlined everything felt, inviting you to be productive. This was before the Elec

Apparently the preceding issue [1] on macOS of an out-of-date certificate wasn’t enough to drive away customers. Plug-and-play peripherals relying on proprietary software was a mistake. [1] https://news.ycombinator.com/item?

I just wanted to say how impressive your documentation is. I expected an average readme.md, but not only is your readme great (the performance table is wonderful), but the full documentation is awesome. It pretty much answers all questions

I think this just makes a bad situation worse. This can go two ways: - the emergency services will wait at the station the train is going to anyway - your health insurance realizes what you've done and make you pay the bills.

Yup. I had the same revelation when I learned that many of the colors we perceive don't really "exist". The closest thing to hue in nature is wavelength, but there is no wavelength for purple, for example. The color purple is

They are efficient FIFOs (queues). You‘ll find them in many places. I know them from multimedia / audio, where you often have unsynchronized readers and writers. In the audio domain, the reader and weiter are usually allowed to trample

How‘s that possible? JPEG-XL stores image files, right? But RAW files are not images in the same sense. They haven‘t even been demosaiced. Or are Apple RAWs different? Edit: I should have googled. apple‘s ProRAW does this, which isn‘t a RAW

I think the RAW philosophy is starting to show its age. RAWs were only ever intended for the manufacturer‘s first party software (AFAIK). But that software is usually junk and supports few platforms (none support mobile). I think the sweet

This reminds me of my own struggles in locating my country in various dropdowns. Sometimes it‘s the trivial to find Austria, but sometimes Österreich under O and other times Österreich under Ö (sorted to the very bottom). Collation is fun!

I don‘t remember it at all, but based on the post it sounds like it was just a UI quirk that made the signal loss look much worse than it really was. I‘m guessing gripping any phone will drop signal strength, but the iPhone made itself look
