But Amazon already doesn't support purchasing in their iOS apps why can't they make an app but do the same on Apple TV?

Yes could this move be an attempt to force Apple to allow the Prime app on the Apple TV? I've always wondered who: Apple or Amazon is stopping Amazon Instant from appearing on the Apple TV.

No it's not strange. It's the only way to make sure everything is working correctly before giving your computer back. If you tell them you aren't comfortable with that they do have workarounds. If they DIDN'T need your p

One of the amazing things to me about Thumbtack is the new user on-boarding experience. If you're building a product that needs user signups you should check it out. Basically if you come there looking for someone to help you mount som

Not in this case no, but even in the case where they were asked to stay late I would still find the idea that they had special priviledges to reconfigure their schedule unfair. As a parent myself I just believe I'm not entitled to spec

This is why I brought this up. I had the same situation where the only person on the team who had a "valid excuse" was the one who had to take kids to school in the morning. Other people on the team felt they were required to do m

This is a tangent but, as a father I've always felt the sick child/spouse excuses were dumb in the same way that smokers were allowed to take extra 15 minute breaks at one of my jobs. Shouldn't the presence or absence of a fa

The funny part to me about this story is the fact that HBO had to do a 3.5 month sprint to get this out on time. Seems like incredible incompetence that a company of their size could be this unprepared for such a major and obvious business

BITS uses client centric bandwidth measurement, not network centric which isn't really possible and that's the point of contention. You cannot know exactly how your network usage is affecting the larger network. Basically Microsof
