I would guess if you are considering a semi-ASIC solution like Zero ASIC, then you probably want to build more than a handful of devices, so getting the FPGAs from the vendor would probably be the better comparison. What kind of price diffe

Does this transalte to if I have a design that I can fit into a $10k FPGA and that can also be implemented with Zero ASIC's chiplets, then I will be able to get a chip in the $100 to $400 range?

I guess the interesting question is how this approach compares to FPGAs in terms of cost and performance. Given the functionality of the different chiplets as soft IP, wiring them together and loading the design into an FPGA should be easy

This article is actually in response to that video by NightHawkInLight, the method used in the video is however different from the one explained in the article, at least that is what the first paragraphs say, I did not read it completely.

What then about mathematical structures that do not exist in the real world? Do you discover some and invent others? Or do you think all mathematical structures are realized? You say that no sane person will deny the existence of three, I a

I would say it is exactly the opposite - you invent the integers, you discover a proof. Discovery for me means finding something that already exists, inventing means bringing something into existence. You discover the electron, you invent t

Yes, but that is a technical detail, it was just easier for me to come up with that than making up a set of axioms. How is an obscure combination of existing axioms still mathematics but not any set of axioms I make up? And how would we eve

What are the constraints? I can make up any set of axioms I like and see what they imply, there is no need that they are in any way related to the physical world. Sure, there is a lot of mathematics that was specifically invented in order t

If you want to be able to implement nullary functions, then you need a nullary function to begin with. You are not really implementing anything besides maybe negating the constant you got. You would also have to extend { AND, NOT } with a c
