I admit my memory may be spotty - but was there any reason to believe this could not easily have been pulled off by 2 people - ie a married couple? Sure relationships break up but I’ve seen plenty of secrets go to a married pair’s grave.

In fairness it isn’t a great filter. As someone that had a similar story - I got a very well paying job out of high school based in part on some home grown apps 20ish years ago - the field of people doing small scale stuff was small and any

A poster above claimed the servers were “48 logical cores (2 x 12-core Xeons) and 64GB RAM”, which really isn’t what I would consider such a “beast” of a machine when the RAM is in laptop territory, and a modest number of cores for a server

I know it is 2017, but that is a very long time in the gaming/mech keyboard market. I remember just about 10 years ago when mech keyboards were a niche for weirdos and a few others that swore by their Model M's - you now can buy t

From the countless review and small time YouTube channels that test these things regularly. I think that post must be a few years out of date - and moreover by its own admission doesn’t even test hardly any “gaming” keyboards. There is a tr

It’s not 8 bits. Most of the Yamaha chips seem to use 16 bits internally in 8.8 format (based on Raph Leviens work). Different models of Yamaha chips had different DAC setups, but on the DX7 the representation was 12.3 floating point - whic

6.9886 is not a floating point number - it’s just a number. Floating point is but one representation for approximation of real numbers, so called fixed point is another one. Having said that I believe the DX7 does use a floating point repre

Sorry but that’s bullshit.. they’re describing a basic power switch (even simpler than a PoE hat) which is nothing compared to the design complexity of an MCU board with memory, peripherals and chip level power conversion.

Mixed DPI setups are very common. A Retina Mac getting docked to external monitors of different DPI is tremendously common all over the place. Ironically on the Windows side I see tons of non HiDPI laptops that end up docked to higher DPI e
