There’s a Wikipedia article about MOSE, seems like cost, corruption and environmental impact are all factors. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOSE_Project

I wonder if the native app could use something like Terraform to manage the hosting on the user’s behalf? They’d need to register an account with a supported provider and do the initial domain registration & dns pointing, but a step by

You could cache the images and serve them on your own domain. I’m pretty sure this is Reddit handles thumbnails in their lists.

HTTPS stops the content being modified on its way to you. Some less than scrupulous ISPs have injected their own ads into pages, which would be prevented with SSL.

Looks like WebAuthn is still missing, even though there seem to have been merge requests featuring it forever! Anyone know which milestone it’ll be merged into?

Got any credible sources that back that up? My 2015 13" MBP has been charged 221 times in 4.75 years. It has been plugged in for the vast majority of the time, yet still shows 88% total capacity and will still last 8+ hours doing stand

I wouldn’t be able to use yours because the only sign up option is with a google account. Ideally, I’d be able to use the service and then create an account (without google) if I chose to save my result.

This was auction listings ending within the next 12 hours that had bids, for the same spec as mine. I also found CeX (a buy/sell company) are paying £350 for my spec, which is less risky (and no eBay/PayPal fees).

I tried with my 2015 MBP, and was offered £180 by Apple. The average eBay price for the same model seems to be around £450, so the eBay route would be worth the risk for me. Also, when selling second hand, at least I know it's being re

Even if everyone bought the cheapest deal ($149), $500k in sales works out at around 3,300 orders, which isn’t really a large number of devs.

16s would be for a full refresh though. If you're making an information based display you might only need to change a small area per update, which would be faster (though I couldn't find. any refresh speed in the datasheet).

Last time I looked into this, for a potential project, I found Waveshare seem to be the leaders for the hacker/hobby space. They’ve got a nice 12.5” display (1304x984) @ $170, which is pricey but big enough for league tables. https:&#

What are you using that Edge doesn't support? We treat Chrome/Safari/Edge/FF all as 1st class browsers and haven't had many problems (aside from Safari lacking U2F and exotic CSS props like motion-path).
