I use Adguard with Safari 13, which has a bit of a clunky startup but doesn't seem to affect performance once everything is running & does a decent enough job of blocking trackers/ads.

Why, when I chose metric on registration do I get my meals in ounces? There doesn't appear to be any way to delete my account.

Both BT & Sky have managed to deploy IPv6 in the UK, so the problems must be reasonably easy to solve. Unfortunately Virgin Media (my ISP) are still dragging their heels but have decided to go with DS-Lite.

I’ve used PlantText[0] in the past, which is a text based UML editor. It’s useful if you want to track changes (just add the source to version control). [0] https://www.planttext.com

Won’t that cause problems if 2 people do this in the same session (and generate duplicate MAC addresses)? I guess you could get around it by hashing the ssid + a personal salt.

Get a cheap VPS and setup one yourself. There are plenty of guides, especially for the big VPS providers like DigitalOcean.

Ok, wouldn’t that be SMP, rather than SMT?

Safari got grid support within 3 weeks of Chrome, so there’s reason to be optimistic.

The Firefox Focus content blocker blocks pretty much every advert for me, works in mobile safari and has done for years. Blocking ads in apps is certainly trickier though.

I think the problem is that most people use YouTube to find content (I’ve heard it’s the most popular search engine after Google). If you’re not on YouTube you’ll likely not be found.
