I think Camillo is trying to point out that the UK is not a republic (banana or otherwise) but a Constitutional Monarchy.

The judge could be taking quite a bit of heat from Samsung… Surely Apple's lawyer division (and it must be a division by now) went through that judgment with a fine tooth comb before posting the statement. I wonder if the judge could have a

No court judgment ever said it had to be an apology. It was supposed to "to dispel commercial uncertainty". Looks as if Apple have exploited a loophole by adding to the judgment instead of simply posting it.

They would have a significant financial advantage over Spotify, who pay a large sum to licence the music they carry. Weren't they also yanked from the Google Play store?

There's nothing to prevent it, but none of the built in apps handle such file types. There is plenty of support via third party apps.

This is very nice, but does it breach Google's Ts&Cs with regard to business asset tracking? I only ask because I wanted to make something similar (though not India or trains) https://developers.google.com/maps/terms section 10.2b(iii

I think it'd be far quicker & cheaper to license street view data from Google, even if they start collecting their own in the background. Google have spent many years perfecting the collection & analysis of the data, Maps needs fixi

The slide switch is for muting audio. The do not disturb mode allows you to automatically silence notifications (both audibly and visually) during the night, though you can also whitelist your favourite phone numbers if you wish.

From the release notes: "Apps that offer routing information, such as turn-by-turn navigation services, can now register as a routing app and make those services available to the entire system" Makes me hope a 3rd party transit app will be

Apple are allowing apps, in iOS6, to declare that they can provide routing info so I don't thin it'll be too long before these gaps close themselves. http://appleinsider.com/articles/12/06/13/apple_hands_off_tr...

It's a nice list, though I'd use blitz.io rather than loadimpact when it comes to load testing (mainly due to it's handy API)

Giffgaff will most likely be increasing their £10 plan to £13 in the coming months[0]. I'm actually in the process of switching to 3's £12.90/month 1 month rolling contract[1] as they actually have the nano sims, though none of their plans

I wouldn't be too concerned on the app front. The situation was the same when the iPhone first got its retina display but these days most apps are optimised for it. The web side of things is a different story. AFAIK, there isn't even a nice

4 - Samsung are taking market share from other Android vendors as well as Apple. 5 - Samsung have many more models than Apple most of which are much cheaper and available on contract a minimal cost to the end user.
