If you’re just learning, I’d actually look at using a cloud based provider where you can just spin up a gpu vps for the duration of each experiment.

45W 24/7 would work out at about £10.50/month in the UK right now (~$12.60). My total household usage averages around 4.5KWh/day so adding that 45W 24/7 server would add about 24% to overall load! It would need to be an

What products does DO offer that Linode doesn’t? I always thought they seemed pretty much equivalent for both price and features (though Linode did take an age to implement cloud firewalls). I’ve personally hosted about 30 servers with them

Someone once managed to spend on a card I've never used! Presumably they got lucky with a Luhn generator and ecommerce that was especially lax in their checks, but it was still pretty concerning!

They can but it’s pretty rare for them to do anything about it (and even then it’s normally just a full page div that’s easy to remove with dev tools). I use nextdns (because I was too lazy to setup pi-hole), which has a simple ui for white

Don’t the next gen satellites require the new Starship for deployment, which is still nowhere near ready for launch (they aim for a first test launch by the end of this year, IIRC)?
