I like how this article is still relevant after 12 years. It gave me some ideas why I have some problems working with my colleague (as well senior level engineer).

IMHO article defines perfectionism doing both things you have mentioned too early. E.g. you do prototype and instead of showing that to stakeholders you clean it up, cover with tests and etc.

It depends on country or region which was part of Soviet Union.

There is site for that https://www.caniemail.com/ . I don’t use it, even if I work on email marketing software, but I guess it might be useful sometimes.

Well, we are arguing about semantics. You say that minimal means that it must be functionally minimal. I say that minimal UX is valid meaning as well.

I am cli/vim guy - that’s my daily tools. Starship is very stable and it is useful for me. The only problem I have experienced is with custom extension I wrote myself (problem was slowness not stability).

I am using starship for some time and it is great. The only advice is to avoid `custom` as it is slow: not too much but might be annoying.

I still think minimal is appropriate in this case as it shows only what’s relevant in the context.

Killing competitors means competitors are dead. Thus bottleneck. How many competitors that group could have killed? Up to 1000 - maybe, 10000 - that would be very interesting. 2000 is still bottleneck
