So glad to see my tax dollars working for things like this. Like another user here said "this has never been about justice, the law" or what's right - it's all about lobbying, politics and $$$$ The sham organizations that are the RIAA/MPAA

Kansas City - yeah, that'll do it. I'm sure everyone in Kansas City needs Gigabit Ethernet.

I agree with most of it. Plenty of people have gotten "rich" working for someone else. That's undoubtedly true. Not everyone has the ability, work ethic, brilliance, and 50 other things required to be an entrepreneur and/or and innovator, l

Is this the same EC2 zone that went out just 3-4 days ago?? Second or I believe third power outage/loss of service for AWS in the past 10-days if I'm not mistaken. This is wild. I wonder what's going on at Amazon and if they're capable of h

Agreed. Nothing beats a whiteboard for team work in a meeting.

Couldn't agree more. More like 1.5-2x slower but it certainly isn't a speed improvement over Safari. Didn't know about Nitro, but this app is a flop because it has to be on top of UIWebView. Not sure there's any other way to build this app,

You got lucky. I went through 3 9900s which all crashed multiple times anda after multiple OS reinstalls.

How are these guys still in business? It's out of this world. It's also out of this world how this company can't figure out left from right - they haven't released a single product since the failure that was the "new" Blackberry Bold 9900 -

Nice read to make you remember the good 'ole days of MP3 ripping when it actually took some work. I'm not sure if Winamp could have ever reach iTunes level but it was a major piece of software in the 90s. Nostalgia!

Biggest bullshit I've read all week. Hilarious. Check out the post I just created on this so as to avoid spewing more in your thread!

This is all bullshit. Speculation. And to think it came from the NY Times. "P2P packets" are signs of depression in a college campus because people are sharing files? Am I reading this right?! They're sharing movies and music - that's where

This is great. Design is so important for success. I can't stress design enough for myself and for those I'm working with. Great design or else.

So amazing to see this and experience the launch with them. You can tell how much energy, passion and personal sacrifice these people and their leader, Elon, put into this. It's absolutely beautiful to see. Real innovation, a true testament

Couldn't agree more. I remember when AOL chat rooms were the end-all. IRC was the place to be. Compuserve, Lycos and Alta Vista were kings in their own right. Netscape was the only browser. Friendster was doing something no one had done bef

It's one of the ugliest phone's I've ever seen. Terrible engineering. Sure, the guts are great, but aesthetically it looks awful. Also can't believe that Apple has a patent on a damn square. Unbelievable.

Agreed. Huge dick move on behalf of Apple. If in fact the warranty was/is "transferable" (haven't read it myself) than you weren't doing anything wrong. Should have kept the business going.

You raise some good insight. At this point, it's too early to concretely say whether or not the iPad (or tablet computers) will truly replace the PC. I also just do not see this happening anytime soon or ever at all. However, I do see room
