You know, you're right. It's definitely a very "nice" phone. Innovative? Not so much. 29MP cameras taking pictures of parts to match the case? Cool, but 99% of people won't care. I know Jony does. And I have A LOT of respect for that. It's

Interesting point. I fully agree with the OP here, the back looks bad. I don't get it. The all-glass back on the 4S was really nice. Had a certain allure and design sense to it. Apple this time around: Tim Cook: "Hey Jony, let's make the ba

Lightning is another scam product from Apple to sell more accessories and fatten their margins. Just like MagSafe 2. Garbage.

@fingerprinter - couldn't agree more with your comments. I'm surprised they didn't release a smaller iPad to compete with the new Kindle Fire HD, which looks pretty damn good actually. Check out my post above this one on my thoughts on Appl

Yes. However, Google will be releasing a Google Maps app shortly to replace the crap that is Apple Maps.

Going with Maps over Google Maps is one of the worst regressions I've seen in an OS/Software in a long time. Google Map's is simply brilliant, the de-facto standard, always being improved, flawless in a sense and these guys go with their ow

I like the project. It's neat. Also neat is watching the video and seeing hundreds of dollars pour into the Kickstarter project. I guess the WiFi/logic controller is on-board each individual bulb? Then you would pair(?) the bulbs to the app

I'm assuming the LIFX did their due-diligence and attained "freedom to operate" before undergoing this venture - or is "assumption the mother of all f-ups"?

@cletus - Couldn't agree more with what you said The in-app purchase is one of the worst elements of mobile gaming of all-time. The social games are complete shit and why Zynga is about to be de-listed from the market. It's a shame there's

Thinking about this a little more in-depth now I actually can't believe that EA hasn't filed suit earlier. Maybe they were waiting and building a stronger case? Sim City was the definitive game of the late 90s - early 2000s, CityVille is a

Pincus will lose all that money before you know it. He's nothing but a turd in the world of innovation. It's funny since Zynga is backed by KPCB and Bing Gordon (who was a big time player in EA back in the day).

Couldn't agree more. Zynga is the biggest scam since Facbeook. Assholes like Pincus are not innovators at the least, they are just plain scumbags who are taking advantage of the boom. It's unfortunate. Especially how Pincus and others cashe
