What's stopping you from keeping your own generator? I suppose you'd be effectively limited to the max range of your vehicle from the generator, but if there's no power for 200-300 miles then there's probably bigger problems.

A number of sources are now reporting that all 4 thruster pods are now online. Looks like this may have been nothing more than a hiccup.

I couldn't agree more. Every time I read articles like this that suggest all these mind games and effort required to get simple tasks completed, I constantly wonder how nice it would be to work somewhere where none of that was necessary. T

Bootstrap 3 is going in the same direction. I think it's a matter of orientation. Rather than creating a Desktop site and then scaling it down, you're creating a Mobile site and scaling it up. I haven't really put much thought into it, but

Looks great, although some of the styling (at least in the demo) seemed to clash with the Bootstrap theme.

If I had to wager a guess, I'd say this is probably due to the 18th Party Congress going on in Beijing right now, and that the block will be lifted sometime in the next week, once the transfer of power is over. I think we may see some mor

There is a difference between encouraging violence and people reacting violently to protected speech. If a group of people started rioting because you were espousing the virtues of Zorastrianism, that would not make your speech unprotected.

The idea that somebody shouldn't say something because it may elicit a violent reaction by somebody else seems to have dangerous logical conclusions that could include actually encouraging violent reactions to speech in order to silence it.

Actually, it looks like RIM is offering to pay the difference between what your app earns and $10,000. So if you earn $4,000, they'd pay you $6,000. So if your app is not going to go past $10,000, there's literally no incentive to promote

I noticed that too. There's no reason to not write simply "Taiwan," since that won't offend anyone's sensibilities.

Just as a side note, the post was made in Taiwan's D3 forum, but from the use of simplified Chinese, it seems the hacker was from China.

Why would I work for one day for somebody with an English degree? Or did he mean to say "Software Engineers Will One Day Work for English Majors"? Not that I'm worried either way. I'm a Software Engineer with a degree in International Rel
