When I'm on the highway, I tank my car up and it'll be roughly 200 miles at halfway and 300 at 1/4. Granted, I've never driven my car to vapors on the highway but it seems logical that a tank of gas will get me around 400 miles. It's a 14 g

I've said before and I'll say again: Electric cars will not gain widespread acceptance until you can travel the equivalent of a tank of gas on one charge. Tesla motors is close, but you need at least 300 and closer to 400 miles per charge.

That seems beyond absurd. Are there any court cases challenging this?

I think this list is missing 2 critical people. Gurbaksh Chahal is building his third company, having sold the first two for a combined $340M. I definitely think having 2 major exits before you're 30 should merit inclusion in the list. Seco

Google should use this as an opportunity to destroy skypes business. They should plaster ads in every medium out there saying what skype has done, and then reminding people that google voice is a better alternative. They could probably take

This brings to mind an interesting question. What is the cost to have a lawyer go over and negotiate an employment contract? Are there any firms offering that service?

Steve Jobs has said in interviews that his taking LSD as a youth was a life changing experience for him. I am very much in favor of restarting clinical trials as long as it's not abused. I think there might be great potential there and as l

My first job was in a plastics plant and one thing I noticed was that when you deform clear plastic, it tends to become cloudy. I wonder how these will fight that, seeing as almost every one will be folded at some time in it's lifecycle.

This is yet another reason I refuse to use Skype. I won't patronize a company that treats it's employees like that.

The Winklevii have made a joke of the American legal system. They're going to keep suing over and over again until they get their way. It's pathetic that they can't take their massive settlement and move on with their lives.

Have something worth working on. No one wants to work on the next groupon clone, but if you have a company that's trying to change an entire market(and has a real shot at doing so) A+ developers will knock down your door to work with you.

Can we please stop calling the vivisection of the patent system "reform"? That is just what congress is calling it to make the ideas more palatable. I have contacted my congressman asking him to fight this, and I believe you should too. Fir

I'm not sure I'd want to work in a minor league company until google is satisfied about my progress. That seems demeaning to potential developers.

I've had my fair share of rotten hardware so I understand what a hassle it can be when it craps out. That said, why didn't you just request a refund, and get a new phone? It seems that'd be much easier than playing customer service chicken

What's the theoretical limit here? When you have 50 cores on a 22nm die, wouldn't you have to start worrying about signal interference?(Disclaimer: I have no training in semiconductor physics so if this question is naïve I apologize.)

This reminds me of why Color flopped. When people hear you've raised a titanic sum of money prelaunch, especially from a VC firm like Sequoia, the expectations for your product are exponentially higher than if you raise a decent A round fro

Rather than build the OS themselves, they decided to acquire it. That tells me that RIM is suffering from a lack of creativity and while you can buy your way to innovation(Microsoft has been doing it for more than 20 years) it's always bett

The sad fact is that RIM just can't seem to decide where it's going as a company. They have an entire host of phones that are totally obsolete[1], their tablet doesn't run an operating system that was built in house[2] and for some reason t

Considering that by 2015 iOS will be on all (remaining) us carriers by then, I seriously doubt it. Unless Apple shows up with an Etselesque iPhone 5, it's highly unlikely that Apple will be seriously affected by windows phones.
