Doesn't this case contradict the earlier ruling[1] that said companies can't go after ip addresses? [1] http://sixestate.com/judge-rules-ip-addresses-are-not-people...

I have a feeling that Microsoft was suckered on this one. Google and Facebook probably had no interest in skype, but bid it up so Microsoft would have to pay more. You'd think after all these years, and having this same thing happen time af

That's already happened. When Apple introduced Lion, one of the things they mentioned was they'd ported FaceTime to the Mac. You get it preloaded with a new Mac, or it's $0.99 in the Mac app store.

That's been Steve's managerial style since he started Apple. I'm worried that once he is no longer able to come back(I think the current medical leave is temporary) that Apple will become a "good enough" company. People tolerate Steve berat

I don't want to trivialize how scary it is that the FBI does this, but what I found interesting about this story was the insane capacity of the batteries. Why aren't more consumer electronics(especially iStuff where they aren't user service

I'm excited to see what devices are created for Thunderbolt. It seems to me to be like the LED was: a solution in search of a problem and history seems to indicate that exciting things come from solutions in search of problems. For example,

The concern I have with the transition when Steve finally does leave is that no one at Apple has the "I don't care what you think" attitude required to force the rank and file to the level they operate at now. I fear that once Steve is gone

The most logical thing for Apple to do if they were to decide to switch to ARM would be to use it in the MacBook air only. People buy iPads and MacBook Airs to play with. People generally buy MacBook Pros, iMacs, and MacPros for work(I did.

Steve would likely have ran Pixar and probably continued at NeXT. Once Apple went under(they were 90 days from insolvency when he came back) he'd have likely poached a large number of the creative team, especially Jony Ive to NeXT. Today, w

The idea that Apple and Intel are going to part ways is not something I can see in the near(5-10 year) future. The reason why is that besides having a reliable manufacturing base, which after the Japan earthquake Apple understands the value

Maybe you could contact PG and see if he'd be willing to partner with you on it? Then it becomes an "official" app rather than an aggregator. Best of luck either way.

The fact is that we won't break the bonds of earth with NASA. Decades of bureaucracy and budget cutting has left them as little more than another government agency that exists solely to expand and maintain it's own budget. I'm 29 years old.
