Mensa most often attracts the deeply insecure and insufferably arrogant. I worked with several IITians and multiple PhD/MD’s... how many joined Mensa? Zero (0). Sure, IITians reminisced about rank every now and then, but they didn’t ha

I have perfect vision now but massive genetic risks for ARMD and glaucoma; when I get much older, blindness is likely without proper lifestyle and care. I’m fine with periodically going to optometrists who’s expertise will catch such issues

Advertising/PR manufactures beliefs, values, preferences and consent every day. Most people these days forgot or were not aware of how they were brainwashed by content or by other people into internalizing what they believe.

The longer-term solutions to home delivery are refrigerated and non-refrigerated storage pods with universal app access. These can either be built into a house / garage or be free-standing. This reduces the risks of having delivery peo

Hypocracy is a bikeshedding dimension. China and the US both serve the politically-connected first and the people last; China does it by force and the US does it by manufacturing consent. Regardless of political system, the people must rise

It’s a heckuva improvement on “clean” coal which produces the most greanhouse gases per BTU of any fuel. Nuclear still suffers from the distributed waste issue without a permanent storage facility or closed-loop reprocessing. Solar and wind

Nope. I remember when MTurk came out, used the API and tried some of the work units. For the most part, it really is moot though for most tasks now, except for insanely complex ones or new business processes that haven’t been automated yet.
