I don’t think researching a $40k purchase and valuing reliability is “boomer thinking”. It’s a side effect of people getting married, buying homes, and starting families.

Why do you need the receipt itself for fast food or gas? I categorize transactions once a month based on the statements, if something looked crazy I’d dispute it (never has). I do take photos of larger dining receipts, since errors can be m

Those best practices are deemed too expensive by the CPUC, who has authority over the PG&E budget and retail rates. PG&E is legally allowed only a small profit as a percentage of revenue. Without it they couldn’t raise private capit

I wish more people knew this, PG&E didn’t take exorbitant profits for the past 30 years at the expense of maintenance. CPUC controls retail rates, and they are politically motivated to keep them as low as possible.

I see AR as having an enormous future impact, games only a small fraction of that. We jumped at the chance to escape reality into our phones, but AR is far more seductive. VR limits your mobility, but AR can be used every waking hour. I see

This hypothetical “real libertarian” would welcome far more than that, and most of it not for the benefit of workers. I’m simply stating it’s foolish to expect Google to actively work against their best interests. To provide material suppor

Skilled immigration is an economic home run, those opposed to it are similar to the NIMBY’s in the Bay Area that vote down all new housing so their home values rise. IMHO, there is no conspiratorial reason politicians pushed the program, it
