It matters when creating infrastructure for bikes though. If you put down a bike lane and nobody uses it, it's likely that the cyclist feel safer riding in the street.

That's very sad to hear. I hope those intersections/crosswalks went through a redesign after this because this shouldn't happen.

> And please don't bike across the crosswalk, walk your bike across it. Drivers cannot react fast enough to a bike darting across the road You lost me there. Cyclist feel a lot safer biking across because they can react quicker. I l

A really bad side effect is that in some European countries, people with hybrids have stopped charging their cars because it's cheaper to drive on petrol.

A lot of people all over the world get by fine without a car. They have stores in walking distance so they don't need to buy in bulk. They can easily have things delivered and if they really need a car they can hire one for a few hours

Vivaldi is more privacy focused than any other browser. Brave collects user data [0] and Firefox gives you a unique identifier [1]. The creator of privacytest works for Brave [2] Full disclosure, I work at Vivaldi. 0. https://sea

I wouldn't dismiss this as only the view of the extremists at fuckcars. There's plenty of other subreddits that aren't anti-car but share the sentiment that more density and proper public transport is crucial.

Exercise is key and the more varied the better. If this is lower back pain then I recommend getting a foam roller and rolling the back of the thighs.

It's been changed to Iceland. Icelanders travel a lot and most of us know how annoying mosquitos are. We also have midges so it's not hard to imagine how annoying this can be.

More electric bikes (should) mean more bike infrastructure and that will increase a bikes utility. Just like more electric cars mean more chargers. Induced demand works for allt types of transport.
