Thanks for the info, I saw the length matched the usual sha256 so assumed it ended there. I'm from a bcrypt crowd which is why I offered the suggestion but as long as you're taking things seriously I'm all for it :)

The only hole I found was if you bypass UI hashing you can create an account that can never be logged in to, but... that's the most secure account I can think of.

Hacker news is a wonderful place where we can share many different projects and a love for tech and software development. Shallow, subjective, emotional comments don't lend themselves towards driving discussion and growth in any form,

I feel like some of the "inspired by cubeworld" stuff is a little too heavily inspired, but I really enjoyed taking a quick look at the source and logging in to check things out. Things seemed pretty clean, and because everything

I recently went to pay for a music service and wanted to give spotify a chance, but they have a huge information leak somewhere on when new accounts are created. On the day of my free trial ending I received the first and only phishing emai

I'm curious why you even left this post - you know you won't change anything. You know nobody will agree with you. What's left?

Hundo-P false. You can build the best space-age cat-shit box, have an intern set a price of $29.99 and tank a company.

No. It isn't. And this isn't the place for that. Edit: I was thinking of simulation gaming, such as racing (forced feedback, hitting the wall), Fishing (fish on the line, rumble as forced feedback, etc)

The only time I've seen this functionality used IRL is when an ad network hijacks the browser and takes you to a scare/infection tab on mobile. Take this out back and put it down next to the blink tag and chained alerts without au

You've written up my thoughts better than I can express them myself - I think what people get really stuck on when something like this happens is the 'can I solve this myself?' aspect. A wait for X provider to fix it for you

I know this is just one usage of this, but hampering the workload of the hardware you're selling people is absolutely backwards.

Valve's handling of security reports is abhorrent, and I absolutely believe they should be kicked from any platform that supports good-faith reporting of bugs until they decide they're ready to play. Sup Gaben?

I wanted to view a page about honda and got visually assaulted by no less than 5 massive and un-dismissable Ford ads before I could read the first words of the article. This site can eat shit and die.
