How can you prevent it from making that content? People will find a way to combine certain words together to make it happen.

Ah fair enough. But generally an rpath is pretty good to go out of the box. The primary binary encodes relative to the executable path and any dylib that loads from it should be able to (by default) load relative to that

What do you mean? I can just tell the linker to link against something in the shared cache and it finds it. It’s been as simple as `-framework <FrameworkName>` I’ve never had to do extra work to find a system vendored dylib in my deca

Why do you believe you need to static link to ship a Mac native app? There’s no such requirement. Tons of Mac apps bundle dylibs within them.

Part of that is because Disney didn’t outright own Hulu until recently. It was a joint ownership.

The fallback support for UniFi setups will be awesome. I’m honestly tempted to get it for my house. My ISP downtime is pretty low but it does happen every once in a while, at the most inopportune times, which impedes working from home. Havi

T2 is no longer a thing since the Apple Silicon chips. Apple moved their support chips into the main SoC.

Only if you phrase it devoid of any context. And if the definition was that loose to begin with, then the original comment is even more incorrect since there have been multiple rounds of demand/scarcity led pricing increases.

Firstly, this is not due to inflation. The price increase is explicitly (per the article even) due to increased market demand that is causing raised prices. Secondly, Computing has always been subject to inflation. It cannot escape inflatio

Are you just ignoring Rosetta translation? You can totally run x86_64 windows games just fine on Apple silicon.

The articles base premise is tenuous at best. It assumes that “unknown” has a best case attribution to Linux with no backing for that assertion. Unknown could just as easily be windows, chromeOS or macOS or just automation for that matter.

This is something that is unlikely to be merged into Blender. It’s not usable standalone as it requires a companion app and a companion device. If Blender did want to integrate it, there’s nothing novel here that would prevent them writing

This repo doesn’t provide any computer vision algorithms. It’s taking the values the phone is providing for facial activations. You’re asking for a different project altogether.

This is about changing the default. The issue with defaults is that people have projects that implicitly expect the default to be static. So when the default changes, many projects break. This is maybe fine if it’s your own project but when
