I frankly think all front end is tedious to be honest. It doesn't matter what you use, it's fundamentally annoying to build in my opinion.

For something as significant as keeping your population warm in winter I don't think this is "hindsight". This is one of those things that a government should pay core attention to because of the consequences of it going wron

Let's be honest, the real reason is that cyclists are frustrating to drivers merely by being cyclists. They're slow so they force the driver to either try to overtake or slow down everyone behind them and most people when driving

I don't believe you can get a "mid-range" prebuilt for $500 that compares to one of the consoles in raw horse power. I don't think you could do it now, let alone over the past 2 years. Certainly at launch of those consol

That was true pre this current generation of consoles. It was damned hard to get a PC comparable to a PS5 or Xbox SX for the past 2-3 years, because the hardware in those consoles is very capable and graphics cards were unobtainium at MSRP.

From what I recall there was a fairly long period pre Volker where there were very half hearted attempts to get inflation under control without going for the kill so to speak. I think the Fed knowing that history will try to kill it dead fi

Ordinary people have FDIC insurance up to 250k and can spread their money across multiple banks for more. So the people who would need to make use of this are those with so much money that they cannot insure all of it across all the banks a

It would be the opposite of stability though. While I gave the example of US Treasuries as a worst case scenario in reality before we get to them half the financial system would've been drained to the Fed. People would pull their money

Primary dangers are that an account directly at the Fed is safer than literally anything else. It's safer than US Treasury Bonds or any other type of bank account. So in a financial crisis similar to 2008 where you're uncertain of

They won't support it because in a potential financial crisis/recession it would cause a bank run away from regular accounts to the fed backed accounts and it probably bankrupts half the financial system. More importantly, it'

The largest driver of currency movements in major currencies like the USD and EUR is interest rates. The US is currently has 2% (I think?) higher rates than EUR and the FED is more likely to raise rates more aggressively than the ECB. That
