I'd say if you can work through LearnPythonTheHardWay you're good to go. It also includes some basics about creating a site in Python through a fork of web.py. I would advise you to read up on a few Python specifics like WSGI. You

I was hoping someone would bring this up. Having my machine with a Colemak layout is one of the best security measures out there.

Digging the idea and I like the Apply feature. However, I have no idea what your JS is doing but it spiked my browser CPU usage to 100% on a core and made the whole thing fairly unresponsive until I closed that tab.

My SO is of the same sex so in that context we're rather similar. He's in tech, so am I but he's in media, I'm a devop. It allows us to both be nerdy, around each other, but not have our lives revolve around that. We can

To be honest, I've never had an MCollective deployment Just Work(tm). It's always taken some serious debugging to figure out what the heck went wrong this time. RabbitMQ works but is slightly problematic since the authors have a m

I'm going to be a jerk here but I'm having difficulties taking a product seriously with badly photoshopped interfaces into devices that don't even respect basic laws of perspective. The problem I don't see this solving i

WebPG or Cr-gpg perhaps can handle the GPG part probably. I'm not so sure about the not saving Drafts, that would require rewriting some bits of Javascript which might break other stuff. As for key exchange, that shouldn't be hand

I would steer clear of things like VPN and Tor. You might want to mention them but that's about it as it might get you in quite a bit of troubles with parents, the school etc. GPG is a good thing to teach, the same as HTTPS and things

Why is this $75? The cheapest phone around is about $20, the Nokia 105 comes to mind for example. Add some dollars for the calls, texts and your margin $75 seems a bit steep.

So much for all Linux distributions, there's only two. I realise that this solution will probably work for most distributions, but not all, like Slackware for example or (Open)SuSE. The given example also suggest /etc/init.d/apache on Ubunt

"It is designed to put you in control and bring freedom to everybody." That mantra should not just affect the product, it should be the way the whole project functions too. How is it freedom if they decide that a feature I use is no longer

I think it's a bit of a weird question and difficult to provide a comparison. Joomla is a full-featured CMS written in PHP, CodeIgniter is a PHP framework to build your own web applications. PHP is basically the thing they have in common, f

That was a fun pannel. Though they took to long to introduce the speakers it was an interesting talk. The only real issue I had is that most of what was said we already knew. There's been some great work in integrating all this technologies
