These Korean IPS monitors are a solid value. I picked up a Shimian for $390 and it is the best monitor I've ever owned. TA Planet ( http://stores.ebay.com/TA-Planet ) seems to be the preferred ebay seller. I had a great experience with th

I recently wrapped up a 6 month project that entailed extensive Fitbit integration. My client is a fortune 500 company and even with their resources it took them months to become a Fitbit partner. Fitbit also charged a ridiculous amount of

Had you considered taking a loan out against your 401K? Most of the financial firms managing 401K's offer them. The interest rates are favorable and you don't get hit with all the penalties. I recently faced a similar decision and opted for

Overall this is a helpful list. One of the biggest challenges with used cars is they are impossible to treat as a commodity. I spent several years working for a company that financed high-end classic and exotic autos. I learned a ton. One o

I've been dealing with the exact same problem. I've been working with Drupal for about 4 years now. I've coded some contrib modules, submitted patches to core, attended Drupalcons, etc and am just not that excited by it anymore. Recently I

Has amazon developed an interface for administering Route 53 domains? Relying on 3rd party interfaces has always been the real deal breaker with Route 53 for me.

Anyone using Vicoapp? If MacVim and Textmate had a lovechild it would be Vico. TM2 is going to have to be pretty amazing for me to switch.

That does seem expensive. I guess you'd have to rationalize it by the shorter commitment (no lease). It is probably priced to offset the risk incurred by the Subletor and AirBnB.

I'm not suggesting that at all. I think W7 is arguably the best OS Microsoft has released (except maybe for Win2k). At the time of Vista Microsoft was managing 2 seperate Kernels, one for consumers and one for servers. The 6000 build Vista

Lion is not Vista. Vista (IMHO) had a rotten core where as Lion doesn't. There are, however, issues that I suspect will be fully resolved via another update or two. When I upgraded to Lion I experienced a few minor stability issues (particu

Amazing work. This kind of API has potential to be a real game changer. Imagine what this style interface could do for things like Image, Audio and Video processing. Can't wait to watch see this progress.

The value of ones time comes to play here. If you are spending hours to resolve an issue with a $5/mo account it just isn't worth it. He should have just cut bait and gone elsewhere the second the marginal savings in hosting was expended. I
