Is it possible to swap batteries on the go? That'd be killer. I only replaced my phone this year (S7 edge) because the battery was depleting too fast.

The thing with dynamical systems, and specially complex systems, is that things very complicated, very fast. Evidently things are complicated to reason about, so the severity of climate change is not obvious. So your questioning is complete

Long time Joplin user. I LOVE Joplin. Got it synched with Dropbox. Several people have asked me what app I use when they see it. It's just what a note app should be: simple, cross-platform, markdown-based, can export notes.

You might like Joplin's approach. It's exactly what you described: you can toggle WYIWYG and plain text.

Let us not forget history. Generative AI (informally defined as "algorithmic generation of stuff" for the sake of argument) has been around for more than 40 years. For example, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al

I really like cryptpad. Thank you for developing it. I have used it a few times in a professional setting even when there is no need for end-to-end encryption, and it is a good experience so far. I encourage others to try it .

This is interesting. I wonder if channels like Adam Neely, Rick Beato, Two Set, etc., are essentially teaching people how to appreciate music.

> I think a lot of humans might make the same mistakes Indeed, it seems ChatGPT is not that much of an improvement over the current state of affairs. At least not in the realm of science journalism.

There have been strong deep-learning contributions to control, but I wouldn't say control is dominated by deep learning at this point. For instance, take a look at ICRA 2022 awards for "Outstanding Dynamics and Control" and &

As far as I know, the field of robotics sees plenty of innovation with no deep learning involved. Whether you count robotics as AI is up to debate, I suppose

I have not felt like getting the Dock, since the experience has been great out of the box. Maybe if I didn't own a PS5 I'd get the Dock for couch gaming. But some 3D games might suffer in 1080p output. The controls are obviously p

My experience has been very console like, in that every game I've downloaded just works. 99% of the time there is no fiddling with graphic or control settings, no nothing. Just hit download, launch the game, have fun. Ocasionally you g

One of the best purchases I've made. It's so much fun being able to squeeze a few gaming sessions here and there, without having to be in front of a TV. It's not perfect. Maybe the battery could last a bit longer. Maybe it co

I disagree with this reasoning on the grounds that quality (however that may be defined) is only one of many factors that influence Linux distro popularity. FWIW, my unrequested opinion, is that I largely agree that Pop!_OS is one of, if no

I wanted to experiment writing code in a REPL session with only prompting, so I put together this demo. Check it out if you find the idea of programming through prompting interesting.

"AI people" do understand that LLMs "hallucinate" by design. Rather, critics see hallucinations as a problem for applications that inherently require factual accuracy (e.g. Galactica should not hallucinate; summarization
