Whining? Just make an app store? I don't know which is worse the stupid complaint or the absurd solution?

Agreed on it being a terrible article. Way too many 'clever' turns of phrase. Why make a statement when you can juxtapose some pop culture references? Seems much more of an act of self indulgence than the condemning of one... But as for

That first example is pretty terrible though, the cancel button looks like it's inactive in one version and like the app is broken in the second...

Just downloaded it, and it's fine with the software keyboard (even has a row of custom keys at the top for it's code editor, so in context it's a more featured keyboard for this specific app).

The more organisations turn to advertising to monetize their products and services, the more valuable products and services without advertising will become.

I wonder if there is a correlation between IQ points and the number of item in the 'no. of things I can do on a smartphone' lists that linkbait authors write. "You can call people, browse the web, take photos, send text messages, and play A

Icons, logos and marketing stuff are all very different tasks. Many designers will specialise in just those particular disciplines. To take them all on and expect to execute them in a manner which is professional and not distracting, is a

I'm probably being a bit too pedantic. I just don't see why the author would choose to use the loaded term 'normal people' instead of just 'people'. edit: Unless he was being lazy and hanging his argument on an unfair caricature. Which I be

'Muggles' I prefer, at least it's sincere. The problem I have with the term 'normal people' is that it is a polite way of referring to 'the unwashed masses'. Which isn't a polite thing to say no matter how you phrase it. In the context of
