Really a complaint of nothing, and the proposed solution is not any better than existing frameworks in practice. In fact the solution already exists, but I still see templates everywhere. People stick to existing, mature technology for a re

Looks like Vue's render function: https://vuejs.org/api/render-function.html And let's be real, nobody likes writing code this way.

Ah, these comments again. Open source is great and I have my self contributed to several open source projects, but it is not the solution to everything. Products like Word/Excel/PowerPoint/etc, Visual Studio, Photoshop, Figma

Free audiobooks narrated by amateurs (who are real humans) already exist. Just go to YouTube and search for classic book name + "audiobook". Yet people go to Audible for those books because there is a difference between amateur wo

Maybe it's awful UX but it's the best you can have and it makes good sense, because there is no way Dropbox can support merge conflict for arbitrary file types. You might as well save all the copies and let user figure it out them

Last time I checked, there is no file versioning for arbitrary file type on iCloud, meaning that if I made a mistake and modified a file by error, there is no way to get the old file back. I decided that I was not going to put any importa

Yes it is not encrypted and the response returned from server can be modified to anything and ask for password etc, but that is far from an exploit that runs native code.

I understand how it works but it just seems a zero sum game. When someone moves from city A to city B, it's more tax for city B but less for A, and it often happens in one direction than the other. Same for companies. Reminds me of the

The fact is that they will lose their jobs, sooner or later, that is going to happen. So do you start to think about it now and figure something out, or act like all the politicians who campaign on "protecting coal mining jobs"

Not sure what you mean by "should be considered a breaking change", because this is a breaking change, I don't think there is any question about that.

What's wrong with "artificially clean"? The goal of benchmarks is to compare and know whether one model is better than the other. There is never a "perfect" or "objective" benchmark. Different benchmarks m

Could you elaborate what you mean by "instability"? I have used the machine for a number of tasks -- remote desktop, video calls, development with IDE, building Chromium, and benchmarking and haven't seen a blue screen so far

I don't know how such a simple thing can be "annoying". Do you tell dirty jokes with colleagues when you have lunch in the cafeteria? If not, how is it difficult (not) to do the same thing online? That seems a very low bar. I

Oh by the way I saw people say their Mac mini (M1) idles at 8W. I couldn't verify it but I think the number is reasonable and they are all within close range of each other.

I rarely find a CoC to be "woke", and it would be helpful if you can provide cover concrete examples. What I see in big products is mostly "Don't attack others, don't tell dirty jokes, no harassment of any kind"

Have been using a 7735HS (6800H) based mini PC for the last few days, very impressed with it -- the entire machine idles at 10W, light load < 20W, medium load at < 40W and heavy load ~ 60W. The fan isn't on most of the time. The

I am curious -- if you are a business and buy Google Ads, and they tell you how many impressions and clicks you got, are those numbers verifiable? How effective is it at filtering out "bad" clicks, like the ones from a competitor
