I've been hearing the "we're headed for a crash" thing with the same logic since at least mid-2019. Either we're not heading for a crash, or the market has become so irrational that it doesn't even matter any m

I don't think they ever put out a formal statement (I'd love to be corrected on this). What I do remember is Palmer Luckey saying that, but then, it's really on the Oculus community to have believed the words of a 22 year old

Absolute insanity that people are still peddling this. Here in India I've seen people in their late 20s and 30s drop like flies from COVID.

Back when I used to use Twitter is found it funny. I used to get cranks and hustlers with the occasional “Why is this random personal tweet promoted?” experience mixed in.

Oracle lives by selling to management. Replit isn’t at a stage where it can do that - it will love and die by developer goodwill until it becomes big enough for management to want to buy it.

Is there any reason to make this by city instead of by region? AFAIK most cities in a wide region (say, India, where I'm from) have reasonably similar work cultures. Frankly, I'd say cities are a rather poor marker for WLB compare

YC didn’t fund installmonetizer! They funded the next venture from the people behind installmonetizer, who then proceeded to say “we’re funded by YC” on their about us page.

You can set up sleep timings in the watch app on iPhone and the watch will automatically enter sleep mode in that range. It’ll mute notifications etc. as well, and give you a sweet notification on your iPhone when it’s done charging.

On that note, it feels so un-apple like that their official way of resolving the storage issue with updates is to unpair the watch and pair it again.

There's a lot of great apps on App Stores that have a pricing model like this. Granted, most of them don't have millions in VC funding, but it's a fine business model that can make a tidy sum.
