I like it, great idea! I was really surprised about Lua's choice rather than Javascript since it's all web-based. I'll definitely give it a try.

What is the most impressive hack you've accomplished? We had to hack our way in a storm to submit our YC application. * Note for application reviewers: Email is in my profile, thanks.

To be fair, a good sync service with history is supposed to be a backup at the same time. I'm using git rather than dropbox but if I push something, it's there forever. So, I'd have to think that Dropbox being able to completely destroy f

That's great, thanks! I wonder if someone knows a googl+ish theme built on bootstrap?

Seems very interesting, I'll surely give it a try in my next personal project. Small suggestion to the author: Please add syntax highlighting in the example.. it makes a huge difference when reading code online! Thanks

Ironically, on the first hacking health event, our server was running heroku.. and heroku went down. 3 months later, we have the second hacking health in Toronto and all AWS is going down.

This seems like a quick hack version where a variable has been changed to pink.. My problem with this is not the pink by itself but mostly how it doesn't fit with the other elements. Try changing the background of HN to pink to have an idea

These numbers are always big mostly because it's a good occasion for big companies to let go bad employees even if they don't have strong public reasons. I.e. it's easier to say: "it's not you .. 399 other employees are leaving".

Good tutorial. You should check out Django. It comes with most of the script you have written plus a lot more and a really active community.

I'm wondering about the /lack/ of submit button. I'm often tempted to remove it but I know from experience that so many people use the mouse to click on the button rather than pressing enter . What are your insights in this issue?

IMHO, the right thing to do would be to forbid the usage of == for decimals values. 1.0 == 0.9 -> Throw err 1.0 > 0.9 -> true In most case, you don't want to use == on double because it 's very dangerous... it's w
