Looks very interesting, I've subscribed to the beta. But to be honest, I haven't totally grasped what and how it works. Call me a fool but I very like small stories.. For instance, "John wants to create a pet website. [Bla bla] is very co

Isn't it a little like forcing a shell or repl out of a running program?

Can't stress the "start small" part. I.e. not a marketplace or a social network to start with. (If you learn a new language, would your first project be a StarCraft2 clone or hello world?)

Would be nice to have a mega refactor function that could check for duplicate all over the public repos. So, for instance, my "capitalize function" could be tagged as duplicate and I could see multiple projects having a better one.

Cloudant seems interesting, never heard of them before. The pricing is intriguing. ( https://cloudant.com/pricing/ ) From what I understand, it's free for most small projects but could get very pricey very fast, but then, handling millions

As far as I understand it, it's more of a "Bottom/Top" versus "Top/Bottom" thinking. Personally, looking at: void checkCloseWorkshop() { if ( noMoreElves() ) { fireAllReindeer(); } } is enough, I don't need

Mind to show an example? Does the new method have a meaningful name? Are they smartly structured in a hierarchical order? I find it hard to believe that too much methods are harder to read than bad variables or indentation.

It's also an incentive for developers to earn karma as it may reflects on a career opportunity. Other popular developer websites, such as github, also have a way to differentiate /popular/ or strong developers (number of stars/fork). Person

It's very hard for a startup to create a platform without a main popular product. It may be proven wrong, but in my opinion (and experience), it's better starting vertical and then horizontally expanding. Existing companies with revenues ca

Which is totally true. Also, if one has already searched on DuckDuckGo, it's even easier to switch to it as it has been added to the search engine list.

Request to firefox devs hanging here. Please make the linux version better.. I use firefox on Windows but have to use Chromium on Linux. I'm mostly talking about the UI interface, it's really not the same standard.

Obvious question but still worth asking: what about the other 'Hosted Forum Services?' (I know absolutely nothing for this domain, but with a quick googling I came up with a couple services such as http://www.proboards.com ) If you compare

Seems like "procedural techniques" is a huge factor with this game. I haven't played the first ones, but it seems like auto-generating galaxies and stars was what enabled the game to make it feels huge. I'm wondering how these "procedural t
