This is for the AI engineers who are loaded enough to find it funny that the system orders a lamborghini when they asked for a toy for their kids.

Idk, it's not obvious that you shouldn't run a desktop OS on a phone. What's yourr main issue with that? You could run android apps in a Android container as needed. I personally would very much like a device that's a po

Yeah thanks, that makes more sense. The devices probably are in New York because of the high antenna density which makes it easier to actually not jam the cell towers. The secret service spun it as a terror threat in the same way your ortho

The use of ´gift’ is extremely weird. I wanted to check what that was about, but there is no link to anything describing this in legalese. The website is exactly like a startup landing page that hasn’t built anything but wants to check enga

I'll probably use your unattach service soon (gmail keeps bugging me about being 98% full). Your pricing is a bit weird though. For a $9 subscription a year, I might as well upgrade my gmail storage to 100gb. The pay-as-you-go is $0.01

Ok, I’ll be the one criticizing. I am a big fan of Gaudi in general, but it shouldn’t stop us from honest criticism. While visiting the inside on a sunny day will leave you in absolute awe that you’ll remember all your life, the outside is

I broke my iphone mini 12 last week. I bought a refurbished one to replace it. It cost me about 250€ with 128gb memory and a new battery. Definitely the way to go.

Note that OP is in Spain, where the iPhones are quite more expensive than in the US, and where the wages are quite lower. iPhone 17 is $799 in US, but 950e in Spain (=$1130) ie 40% more expensive. average wage is 80k in US and 35k in Spain.

The overuse of first person on French official websites also feels weirdly infantilizing. Clicking a button that says "I register" or "I want to pay for a parking ticket", feels so bizarre to me. It's like the websi

The problem is that people in power decide who the "bad guys" are. Authoritarian regimes come up with bogus charges to include political opponents in the "bad guys", painting them as criminals to the rest of the country,

At this stage it really feels like features like this’ only purpose is to make older models struggle with basic UI stuff just so people upgrade to the newer devices.

I vaguely remember someone here saying what worked for them was to add a fair amount of artificial lag to browsing, so that loading a page would actually be painfully slow.

How does the brain do it? A baby's brain isn't wired to the entire internet. A 2-year-old has access to at most 2 years of HD video data, plus some other belly-ache and poo-smell stimuli. And a baby's brain has no replay capa

There are tons of internship-like positions where the employer just wants someone to prepare powerpoints and stuff of that nature, that they then edit because the intern doesn’t do a very good job at powerpoint.
