As a software SaaS CISO, who also pentests and determines partner risk - I take the approach of not sharing such in depth details. Articles like this are fantastic fingerprinting recon for those that look to compromise sites.

As a native Dallas-ite, who moved to Denver.... there is much more to compare for getting the heck out of concrete-strip-mall-culture-void Dallas than cash. Denver? Pay is ok'ish, but the mountain biking is amazing! Edit: However, the

The WaitButWhy post a few years back is incredibly compelling in helping one understand how little time with your parents you may have. For example, if you see them 10 days a year, and they're 70, you might have (10/days * 15 year

Many years in security - engineering through leadership. The comments here are quite solid. I'd add that CISSP requires documented security experience + a CISSP sponsor to sign off. I started from a C.S. background, but you can start i

Thanks to you and the other commenter on these options, would love to replace my current A/C unit with something that seems more intelligently designed.

I had believed the original reason was that politicians could not travel to each district/county/state and that it was easier to get a small, informed, educated group together than a large, unfocused, sometimes uneducated group to

Each house market would act differently, some with a depressed recovery, some a whipsaw recovery. Watch your own market as the rule applies "last to go up, first to go down". Coastal markets will drop enough, interior less. Here i

True, but time in market with educated and not naive timing beats "time in market". Edit: "naive", and that I simply mean to time ETF payments with awareness and possibly technical indicators.

This is absolute malarky made to make people feel better about sub-optimal returns. There are definitely strategies which provide greater than 8-10% YoY returns, or random walk, or indexes. People that know them, rarely will share the full

While I agree with this, timing can be really important. Large ETF's sell blindly when people take money out of the ETF's. So a sell on ETF, means quality and not quality stocks are sold. So don't buy ETF's on the multi
