I have been out of the ecosystem for a while, but use Ruby frequently. So the 3x3 is coming along? More up to date places I could see benchmarks or similar? Note: I have been using Roda with Ruby 2 and it is pretty fast. Can't wait to

The small acts of violence are either a brilliant strategy move of RNC, or a lapse of strategy on the far left. Small bouts of violence are completely de-lever the strategic impact of the intended gatherings from an optics perspective. Some

This is a great list. I like the framework style thinking as it fits with who I see the world.

The descriptions in the article sound like every early stage startup that has ever existed (except the monkeys part).

Thank you for the mention, it looks worth reading. I'm not into SciFi - but the concept seems a relative given outcome of the future of humanity.

Watched enough 'PBS Space Time' to not be illiterate, but still a CompSci background so take my physics with a huge grain of salt. ;) Is there some way we could tell a distinction between a local event and a long range event with

Can I use this in conversations with my wife? So much talking. ;) Joking aside - this is a great tool in corporate settings. In technology, one works with two types: Very verbose (tend to be introvert or detail oriented) or Too abbreviated.

It is not a political view of reality - it is an argument against the current reality. I'm suggesting subtly that we tax the person, not the wealth. That is only accomplished in one of two ways: Tax everyone the same, a high amount due

Semantics, I believe. The meta-point to be derived is that the top 10% pay a majority of all taxes in actual dollar value.

As a rate - but not as what matters - actual money. I would expect wealthy to pay a smaller percentage. As an example - 1% of $1B = $10M. 30% of $40k = $12k. They still pay more in actual dollars. Dollars are what people are after here.
