Yesterday I was working on getting redis setup on a windows box. First time I have ever used it. There was a service config error on my part but before I figured it out I posted to twitter with a little passive aggressive spot asking "red

I second this. I haven't been too big of a fan of his latest work, but I bought my first John Mayer album physically from John Mayer. To say he doesn't understand independents isn't true.

Sounds like a perfect fit, I think Turntable and Fred Wilson are both on the same key about ways in which people share music.

I fear this might make the argument for taxing virtual goods stronger. There have been some real money systems (livegamer) out there but never on such a large expected release title.

I think the color and illustrations are what give it its appeal. It isn't your run of the mill streaming service, its fun and it has its own character. I currently pay for rdio and would probably pay a minimal amount for turntable.fm al

I bought a Spotify premium membership for a month just to test the waters and have already gone back to rdio. I am very excited about this ipad app.

I have been a huge Rdio fan for awhile and after playing with Spotify I have come to the conclusion that Spotify is great if you don't want to pay, if you want to pay then Rdio is much better because of the method in which it presents new m

I feel like this is a chicken and egg scenario between big media wanting more for their content and consumers wanting a better selection of first run movies via streaming. Netflix (at its current pricing structure I assume from the comment

We watch Ponyo at least twice a week in my house (4 year old loves it) and I have always wondered about the boat. The first thing I wondered if a.) it was real and worked - based on jgc's post seems that it does and might be more common t

I am a huge fan of rdio and use it daily. However my collections of live shows and misc stuff will never make it up to my rdio account as of now. Thats a +1 for a music locker service.

awesome question, does anyone know if there is a feature grid of all/some of the apps within this market? One thing I am interested in is accessibility with mobile devices and how quick the mobile devices that are there are updated.
