One sided? You buy, and you sell. The price goes down if there are more sellers than buyers. This is how it worked until the “professionals” invented all of this ridiculous nonsense so they could gamble on the markets. Buy or sell. And noth

Short selling is not a fundamental activity. Short selling should be the thing that is illegal. None of this nonsense would exist if it weren’t for the absurd nonsense that is borrowing a stock, selling it, waiting for the price to drop, bu

As opposed to the “professionals” who short a company and then work to ruin the company so their bet pays off. No no. It’s the WSB crowd that is the nihilists.

People will die. It will also save lives. It’s probably already prevented thousands of accidents, some of which would have been fatal. It just doesn’t make national news when your car moves you out of the way of danger.

That’s a complicated geopolitical question. SMIC produces lots of chips. But if China tries to clamp down on ARM production, it will hurt TSMC.

That would be an epic own goal. The west is desperate to reduce chip manufacturing reliance on China.

When a bunch individuals BUY a stock to hold it, it’s an irrational mob. As opposed to the “institutional investors” who are shorting a stock, which is to borrow a stock, sell it, and then buy it back later at a reduced price. Which one sou

It’s not THAT bad. I don’t love GS, but I would be sad and disappointed if the one near me closed. It’s a convenient place to buy used games.

Fiddling around on an M1 MBA it felt faster than my 2020 16" MBP. It's half the weight, seems to get double the battery life, and costs less than 1/3. I just can't even imagine what the gap is going to look like when Ap

Of all the potential Fermi outcomes, I find the “uninterested aliens” to be the silliest. More likely is the universe is massive, and the aliens have already visited. Millions or billions of years ago.

Heavy, pricey, the case is bad, overpriced. "Headphones for people with more money than sense." "Should you buy it? NO." 7/10 I guess I'm still not used to review inflation.

My biggest complaint is that the “teams” section is in a completely separate tab from the “chat” section. I find that companies tend to gravitate toward one of the two, because it’s impossible to keep switching.
