VMWare and Paralells have both said they will have support. I don’t know what that means, yet. I would not personally buy a Mac product for the next 2-3 years.

What is hate speech? Can you define it for me? Better yet, use legal definitions.

We want Facebook to censor speech on Facebook! But oh not all speech just some speech that we don’t like. Only we are allowed to define the type of speech we don’t like. And we reserve the right to change at any time. So, please just censor

No doubt. My comment that says “You have to accept the bad with the good” is at -2. People don’t actually want free speech, they want people to speak the way they want.

I’m not complaining about it. I paid the $99. I’m pushing back that it’s a modern UI and modern UX. It works, but from my perspective it’s pretty ugly and dated. It’s opinionated nitpicking, not scientific analysis.

Microsoft has been dabbling with ARM for a long time now. It will all come down to whether this move gives Apple a significant performance and/or battery life advantage. If Apple pulls it off it will force Microsoft and other vendors

If you want free speech you have to accept the bad with the good. And if you don’t, well, just go back to your safe bubble.

Shouting people down in public and on the internet doesn’t change opinions. People just talk more quietly or take more care with whom they share their thoughts and opinions. Cancel culture, outrage culture, and the general “social justice”

I refuse to even entertain the idea of this. “Master” has nothing to do with slavery and “slavery” is not unique to any group of people or race. Read a history book. Renaming “master” to “main” helps absolutely zero people. It’s just some

I don't think Reddit should be able to censor lawful content and also claim protections under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. If they want to police lawful content that is fine but then they are no longer an open platfo

The drama with Apple is absolutely, unequivocally, without a shadow of a doubt, marketing. It’s literally in their book. Making an enemy as a marketing ploy. Hey is a mailbox app that costs $99/year, doesn’t support IMAP (edit: or POP)

Mailbox did most of these features 5-7 years ago. There are some innovative things here but they want $99/year for it and it doesn’t support IMAP. It’s also ugly as sin and looks straight out of 2007. The biggest hurdle is that it just

Corporate taxes are stupid, anyway. Companies just evade them and hold money elsewhere until the next repatriation holiday. Corporate taxes also prevent us from treating investment income as ordinary income. Just all around stupid.

It is irrefutable that Android is the dominant player in mobile[0]. It isn't even close. Android is near to a legitimate worldwide monopoly while Apple is a bit minority player in comparison. These are just facts. [0]: https:/

It is not wrong. It's not monopolistic behavior without a monopoly. Anticompetitive behavior can lead to a monopoly and that type of behavior can be considered illegal. However, this behavior from Apple is not an illegal attempt to

Apple is a minority player in every single market in the world, including the US. You can't have monopolistic behavior without a monopoly. You can't be a monopoly if you are not the market leader. People want this to be a legal

I pay $2,000 less per month for a two bedroom and a parking spot, in Manhattan. So I would say that $4,995 example is on the extreme end of expensive. Not rent controlled, not rent stabilized. Upper west side.

Gaming on Apple hardware is dead. Apple killed it when they killed 32 bit support. But I have had a pretty nice experience with GeForce Now. I don’t see why that would have to change with macOS ARM.

Their trip planner recommends a charge in the middle for almost any trip greater than 200 miles. I am not sure why. It also could just be a fairly hilly drive or a drive with a high speed limit. Either way it’s pretty unfair to say Tesla is
