"It’s been a bit of a slow realization for me, but I don’t actually want to be safe, I’d rather be free and unsafe." This, I believe, is the key tension in democracies. A majority of the constituents can be scared into compromises

They are not happy with the way the last mass immigration (of the Turkish) turned out. But they have recently made a lot of concessions for in-demand skills like tech, nursing and so on. And if you get a salary above a certain threshold, yo

Very interesting transitions and cool palette, but isn't this a filesystem visualization tool ? I couldn't get any further information about the code itself (Firefox 22/ Win x64).

Please take a look at the Apache Lucene and Tinkerpop Blueprints codebase that will soundly meet all your parameters.

Kudos on developing such a great API! I always point out to the Blueprints stack as an example of tastefully designed, masterfully layered API design.

Great work, lvca ! I'm especially happy about the the 'edge label -> subclass' optimisation, as it is a fairly common use case of mine. Wish you all success.

Have you tried Java EE 6 ? JAX-RS in particular is a splendidly designed api for RESTful services. And then you can make single page apps instead of JSF. This method is even going have ide support in Netbeans 7.3 with wizard-driven Backbo

I don't think that the first language you learn matters (except vocationally, of course!). What matters more is the understanding that every language has it's own 'take' on approaching the problem of instructing computers. This 'take' (more
