This is an amazing game and I didn't know the whole story behind it, although the author did provide the voice for the computer AM which is pretty creepy. The game is ridiculously progressive for its time and has a female African Ameri

I don't really understand the point of this article. The vast majority of these things don't affect me of a day to day Linux Desktop user. I get that these are "problems" about Linux but the focus on "on the Desktop

Wow, exciting to see Simon on the front page. My background is in linguistics so I've known this guy for a while on Youtube. He adamantly claims his background isn't in linguistics but he's legit. Go Simon!

I'm willing to guess that any minority is going to suffer more depression than the majority, in this case meat eaters vs non meat eaters, due to the social stigma. It gets tiring having people hassle you and ask you stupid questions ab

Microsoft products and the office suite are like Stockholm syndrome now. I never hear any good reasons for companies actually using them and it's always just breaking or in fear of being broken. It is so shocking to me how bad it is at

Pretty recently (2018-ish?), in Seattle, someone I knew ended up racking up a 100 dollar fine at the Seattle Public Library. What was extremely shocking about this, however, was that the Library at that time felt the need to send it to coll

This is somewhat shocking and isn't the full story. As another poster said, yeah, use Ivermectin (and to counter the same kind of posts about that - yes, I knew what ivermectin was before all this Covid stuff, and it's upsetting t

Thanks for this, I was thinking of trying it on an Android media device. Is there a fork or is this totally proprietary?

My concern being, once GPs start seeing this media, they are less likely to be referred to a neurologist at all. Another example: a hospital near me is denying my neuropsych referral despite a valid reason because my doctor isn't in th

Can't this kind of focus get really dangerous towards those who actually suffer from these challenges? I've already been accused of faking various illnesses/psych symptoms that I've been diagnosed with so this is a bit s

Is there a third party app/viewer that can get around this? Twitter is getting increasingly problematic, what with the new font and so forth.

This is so horrifying in so many ways. Slave labor, forced religion, and further contribution to pain and suffering in the meat industry. It reminds me of a recent article where meat companies in the UK are also trying to get prisoners for

A lot of phones have issues with the built in cameras when flashing third party firmware. The roms that seem to work better with these phones integrate the original binary blobs from the manufacturer. I guess the question is can you do that
