Why don't you create a truecrypt file, and store it in copy.com? For me, copy.com solves my storage needs as they grow for a decent price, then truecrypt would privatize my files leaving them 100% in my control.

I'm very interested in working with this, despite being a full time web developer. I have a couple ideas I'd like to execute, but neither the time nor attention span to build them out in the evenings. This gives me a good base app

Or use technorati's search engine, and work through the top 100 backwards. That's the suggestion I recently read.

I used to use a similar method to remove risk from projects. I'd take my hourly estimate, multiple by the percentage I felt I was right, and come up with a total.

Honestly, just use the CAPSLOCK key as a CTRL key. 1) it's more comfortable. 2) Now, the place of the FN key doesn't matter anymore! :)

I like it! A great alternative place to store recipes besides beersmithrecipes.com. One problem though, is it possible with github to JUST see "my" recipes, or at least recipes I've contributed to? I'd like to be able to

Tiny Tiny RSS (tt-rss, http://tt-rss.org/redmine/projects/tt-rss/wiki ). I've loved it since I've installed it, and that's even without the iPhone integration enabled. I'm sure I'll love it more once I have that. I deleted the 'reader.goog

Do you have an example of TastyPie and AngularJS working together? I've got a straight-forward CRUD app (mostly) that AngularJS will be great for, but wrapping my brain around it all and an API has been difficult.

I totally agree! I'm a homebrewer, so the phrasing really made me do a double-take.

What is this? I hate to be rude, but it reads something like "Hey, we wanted to know how to start a bike shop, and had some friends that did. ... Here's their renovations ... 1 year later, they rock, and they don't know why ... oh, and ther

I do this 2 ways: 1) I have a constant editor opened with a Notes.txt file, so I can save it. 2) I use Sublime Text 2 which maintains the state regardless of whether I've saved the file or not, and is extremely cross platform.

This reminds me of a "start up ideas" spreadsheet that was posted on HN awhile ago. Will your app be able to "favorite" bands so I can be notified of new releases? That was one of the ideas posted in the spreadsheet. A sort of "apt-get/upda

But HOW do you track all that data? Today, with a smartphone, it seems easier, but even then I’d like something akin to a master spreadsheet that I can store it all in. Seth: what format are you tracking all that data in? Of course, now tha
