So is Headlamp the state of the art in Kubernetes cluster management ever since Mirantis first enshittified Lens and then tucked away its sources?

Yeah, Shadow DOM was definitely introduced as an immature technology with lots of problems. Nowadays there's also Declarative Shadow DOM[1] which allows you to create Shadow DOMs without JS. It alleviates some of these problems at the

I can't seem to scroll with the arrow keys on your website (ellie.wtf). Is this intentional? Really annoying at the very least. Good luck on your project!

I'd say the Gentoo handbook comes pretty close. You set up everything in the system and all is well explained. Not quite as extreme as LFS but enough to learn and not punish yourself.

I know next to nothing about video encoders, and in my naive mind I absolutely thought that parallelism would work just like you suggested it should. It sounds absolutely wild to me that they're splitting single frames into multiple se

`src/gam/__init__.py` alone is over 3 MB of code that's not from `google-api-python-client`. Combine all the ad hoc shell scripts I've ever written and it probably wouldn't be that much.

Hm, to each their own I guess. I kind of see where you're coming from, though - my partner isn't really into RPGs and the Switch is apparently such an underpowered children's toy console that it's unfathomable it could h

I agree, BG3 is phenomenal and deserves every bit of praise it gets. But I'd also like to mention that this has been a ridiculously good year in gaming in general. Playing these new releases, I've been giddy like a little boy fo

It's so disheartening to follow these. Time after another we hear about some insane Orwellian plot to exploit our deepest secrets. All spun so that the masses will think it's for some noble cause like protecting the children when

This is the best use I've found so far as well, which is a bit disappointing for something that many hyped to be so revolutionary. It's handy, but sadly not a major paradigm shift. Translating between (natural) languages is anothe

As much as I would love this too from a programmer's perspective, reading [1] convinced me that time zones are a necessary evil we just kinda have to deal with. They could be improved by a lot, though. First thing I'd do is get ri
