Yes. Do you have any evidence they use contractors for Steam?

The game store doesn't need a lot of employees. A few years ago it was reported that Valve only needed about 70 employees to run Steam while it generated billions of dollars in Steam fees (30% per game). It's basically free money

The problem with the "I'm right, you are wrong, educate yourself" reply is that, because of the taboo, different books will say vastly different things about this topic. So you have to decide which books are the "good&qu

It's probably not long till approximately nobody can distinguish LLM and human text.

Normal humans do it very rarely, LLMs do it all the time.

This article is just an ad for a consultant. It's also at least partially AI written, which is evident e.g. from the parentheses in the subheadings.

I also have the impression that the writing was at least "enhanced" with an LLM. For example, the amount of " - " dashes (over 60) is much higher than in a normal text. By the way, I consider it a pretty disgraceful defe

IQ is about as heritable as body height. > The results show that the heritability of IQ reaches an asymptote at about 0.80 at 18–20 years of age and continuing at that level well into adulthood. https://www.cambridge.org/

IQ is highly heritable, so I don't think there is any environmental factor that has this big an impact, except in extreme cases like severe malnutrition. Also note that IQ increases with age roughly into early adulthood independently o

Linear time complexity models are bad at in-context retrieval, which limits their performance on various tasks, so a pure linear model isn't currently feasible anyway, at least for language models. Instead they recommend mixing linear

Yes? Mamba-2 optimized for training speed compared to Mamba-1. Mamba-3 adds optimization for inference. These are pretty much version numbers.

Linear architectures are at least heavily used in image diffusion models. More so in fact than in language models.

Mamba-3 is an architecture while diffusion is, I believe, a type of objective. So these are not mutually exclusive and therefore not comparable.

I think this is not quite right as stated there because the root mean square (quadratic mean) is always positive or 0 while the arithmetic mean can be negative, making it smaller. I guess the inequality only holds for positive numbers. That

But blinking a frame multiple times rather than once creates a double (or triple etc) image effect. To get optimal motion clarity which compensates Smooth Pursuit without double images, one would need to flash each frame once, as short as p
