You don't need the Technology Preview, it's available as a WebKit Feature Flag under the advanced settings of normal Safari. I just enabled it on my phone and was able to view the demos.

What can I say, other than we have very different experiences. Opening an .ics file from the Files app indeed shows its details, but selecting "Done" does nothing but dismiss its contents and adds nothing to the calendar. Contrast

Opening an .ics file on iOS from the Files app will show the events, but will not allow you to import/add them to your calendar.

One of the few remaining ubiquitous open formats of the web. Unfortunately Apple still refuses to recognise *.ics files unless they're included as a Mail attachment.

404 Media reported a story on Monday[1] about a news outlet that claimed there'd be a 90-day break on tariffs for all countries besides China. This was published a few days before the official announcement. So someone, somewhere, knew

Sure, it's blunt. But surely we've all experienced the feeling of apathy expressed in this post. I certainly have.

My wife and I recently flew to New Zealand from London, we opted to avoid a transit via the US. Not just because of the political situation in the country, which isn't ideal, but because our bags wouldn't be checked all the way th

I'm super grateful for the webOS Homebrew[1] community for allowing me to wrangle control of my LG TV and giving unfettered root access to the device. [1] http://webosbrew.org

Thanks for the information. I suppose a more appropriate term of phrase would've been "I'd heard anecdotally...", but I agree I was lazy with my original reply. I appreciate the feedback.

Are you sure? I know someone in adtech and I'm pretty sure Apple allows a similar app manifest that allows you to check for specific apps. I could be wrong.

That's actually quite clever. It's hard to relate to the type of problem solving that's required when your problem domain is mass disinformation.

Is it okay/usual for the test pilot to partake in a glass of champagne so soon after landing? On a side note: Channing Tatum is a shoe-in for playing the pilot, Tristan “Geppetto” Brandenburg, if this ever gets made into a movie.

On the live cast the presenter mentioned Boom have already secured ~130 pre-orders, including United Airlines. Not bad considering the Concorde anticipated 100+ orders but only manufactured a fraction of that.

The plane looks so small on the runway, I thought how could it possibly hold 64-80 passengers. Hint: it's because the XB-1 is a one-third scale model of their fully fledged Overture.

I'm far from an expert, but at least as it pertains to the SR-71, that craft was designed to use its afterburners most (all?) of the time[1]. Edit: Of course, the Blackbird had the benefit of refuelling mid-air. [1] https://

The spaceport is at the tip of Scotland on an island. That's got to be one helluva commute to transport the rocket parts up there (the article mentions they're manufactured in Germany and assembled on-site).
