Yeah :) Though I can think of two reasons why: it's not typable for most people on a keyboard, and most programs are not designed to deal with it, or render it properly in an aligned way, like tab characters.

The reason null values are a problem is because most compilers do not track the difference between a nullable and a nonnullable type. If they would, then null values would indeed be similar to Nothing in the maybe type.

Vim in maintainance mode makes a lot of sense to me. For larger features and refactors it makes more sense to turn to neovim, which has already undergone a lot of modernization work, at times breaking with old vim.

The geographical information is not 100% accurate. E.g. it labels "Enschede" as being in Germany, but it's in the netherlands. Cool app though.

I just realized that the word for organ the music instrument and the body part is one and the same in English. (In dutch they're called orgel and orgaan respectively.) Which of these meanings is being referred to in the article? To me

ADTs are the space generated recursively by sums and products. Enums are a single flat sum type.
