A Porsche Panamera vs Tesla comparison is a poor one at best, knowing both the public perception of these brands and the products they have produced.

What is the criteria for "legitimate"? A project useful for me may not be "notable" enough for most to consider "legitimate".

Unfortunate that MobaXterm is not free (as in freedom) software, but looks VERY nice from the website. I'm very tempted, although I don't do much remote administration anymore.

I really like the workflow chart on slide 22. I can't help but think this is a useful way to visualize common workflow sequences of commands (think git add, git commit, git push). Honestly I wouldn't mind if man pages came with as

Can you elaborate on this? Their FAQ explicitly states: "Although some features are a work in progress, Neovim isn't at a stable point. Using Neovim should be done with caution as things may change."

You could host a mumble/vent for a gaming clan/scene you're involved with. Run a dedicated server for whatever games you could manage with 512 mb ram.

I keep work and personal projects separate. Despite that, all my code is in git so it is synced wherever and whenever I need it, as long as I am disciplined about pushing to my central repo. There is some data that I use on both home and wo

This really sums up the idea of what I've been trying to express to myself the past few months on my stagnated side-project. I know if I work iteratively, the small pieces start to add up quickly. However for me the trick is to get tha

Test driven development to my knowledge is only mandated in one major Agile Framework, and that's eXtreme Programming. Individual Agile implementations may use TDD, but it is not mandated directly by the Agile Manifesto. XP has a very

A few interesting points I would note: As the article states, Agile has been abused so much, most things claiming that they are "Agile" or related to Agile are actually not fully in spirit with the Agile Manifesto. Scrum is great

Agreed. Here I treat nearly all text as text and edit in vim. That's why I like how simple and readable Markdown is. Having a different editor for different text documents seems redundant to me. However I'll admit my two exception

I've also seen behavior like this with NoScript. Sometimes it's a total crap shoot as to which functionality works/doesn't work when you enable/disable certain scripts.

Pretty intrigued by this! However, if the data is sold by CC companies, is it truly "public"? Regardless, would you even be able to target an individual without spending lots of money to buy a large batch of "anonymized"
