When a website asks me for my birthday, I usually put 01.01.1970 into it. Any system administrator looking at that will either be amused or search for the error in his date time parser.

I disagree: Having to switch to Windows from time to time (insufficient power to run Visual Studio virtualized), I love it that I can reboot into the same state I was before. Most of my applications save their view state anyway, so coming b

Wow, that site looks beautiful, amazing HTML5 and CSS-work. The source looks handcoded, apart from Modernizer and jQuery. I wonder how you would event start to design something like that.

The article reports about the collision paper from 2004: http://unixwiz.net/techtips/iguide-crypto-hashes.html#bignew... And it seems to be written sometime in 2004, see the update and linked blogposts at the end. No need to yell.

Yes, and how long until somebody creates a parody/fake? The domain convention would make that very easy. (I lack the humor though... The best thing I can come up with is probably something like dadaism-class.org.)

Topographical was the word I was looking for. I'm no expert, but I don't think topology features much in the weather models. It's mostly numerical analysis and statistics.
