Damn I didn't even try disabling wifi. Yeah it works once I disable it, kind of an important pointer the app could alert users to... I was originally thinking that maybe the MITM VPN IP clashes with my LAN subnet.

But Tether is traded on other exchanges outside of their control, this wouldn't work... plus. if they did this, then what people are suspecting is true. They just print tethers willy nilly without proper USD backing.

I never quite understood how tether is supposed to be pegged to the USD. If there is no liquidity in an exchange wouldn't the price just fluctuate with supply/demand. If people are wanting to buy them more than people trying to se

I always use Ripple or Litecoin for transfers, much quicker and much lower fees. (I don't use Coinbase though, not sure whats supported there)

I think we are about to go through a change in how flame retardants are classified and handled. The chemicals in use today (in clothing, mattresses, lounges and other fabrics) are known toxic and carcinogenic.

True - but the similar issues people complain about with BT audio are going to be present with $5 cabled headphones... crackly audio, dodgy cables might cut in/out with movement etc...

I think bluetooth is absolutely there now... I've used bluetooth headsets for a number of years now and they are fantastic. You just need to buy a decent product! Currently I am using QC35s and there is no lag, no hiss, amazing quality
